Exploring~

Paige had been wandering the clock twoer in search of Evelyn, who seemed to have disappeared, and ended up at Julius' office. She'd remembered seeing him go in and so she went to the kitchen, which she'd passed before, and made two cups of coffee before heading back to his office and knocking on the door.

Julius looked up from his recent work (yet another clock), eyes narrowed a bit. "Yes?" He questioned, not moving from his spot but placing the clock down on his desk with a soft thunk.

Paige walked in, two cups in hand. "Sorry to bother you, but I made coffee. I figured I'd bring you some since you're working."

Julius narrowed his eyes, motioning her in. "Hopefully you can make better coffee than the other one.." He said, obviously speaking of the ~~bitch~~ yet to be seen Alice.

"I take it you're referring to someoe I've yet to meet?" Paige asked simply. She handed Julius one of the two cups before taking a sip of her own steaming mug and then silently leaving to room, going back to the kitchen to make something to eat since she was hungry.

"Thank you." He said quietly, watching as she left before taking a sip. "...It's not as bad as hers..." He muttered, looking back down to the clock he was working on.

Paige came back about ten minutes later, carrying a plate of food. She peeked in, her head tilted to the side and a crooked smile on her face. "You hungry?"

"It all depends on what it is you made." Julius said, looking up once against, brushing a bit of his hair behind his ear.

"Well, there wasn't very much to work with so I made sandwiches." She laughed lightly since sandwiches weren't all that fancy or anything but hey, it was food.

Julius motioned for Paige to come into the room more and shut the door behind her. He slowly stood up and placed his hands on the table in front of him. "What's...in these sandwiches..?" He asked, raising a slim eyebrow.

"I do hope you meant the question as in 'what kind of sandwiches are they?' and not 'what in the hell is a sandwich?' because the way you phrased it is that it can be taken either way." Paige said. If people in Wonderland didn't know that miricle of a sandwich then there was something majorly wrong here.

Julius gave a blank stare for a moment, blinking. "Meaning, what the...hell..is in them? The kind."

Paige laughed, "Well there wasn't much in the fridge so I worked with what I had. Some are cheese and some are egg."

The brunette set the plate down on his desk and picked an egg sandwich for herself, smiling when she took a bite, "I finally made it the same way," the comment was directed at herself.
